Methodology and Methods

With Xuan Kong Feng Shui, it is possible to predict events and trends with amazing accuracy. Qualitative research methodology was applied in this Project. An exploration of Feng Shui and the impact it has on the Central Bank of Ireland, the Bank’s location and other attributes (construction date, direction etc), the human impact on the banks history, present and future. In this case we are looking at the relationship between each Governor and the Bank.
Central bank governors play a pivotal role in decisions about economic policy and the country’s financial stability, or lack thereof. Xuan Kong Flying Star Feng Shui or Xuan Kong Fei Xing is the method used to create the charts, although more technically challenging than any other method of Feng Shui; in this case simplicity is not the answer.

The process started with surveying each of the banks locations, Central Bank Foster Place, Central Bank Dame street and Central Bank North Wall, for accuracy purposes 4 different Luo Pan Compasses were used and calibrated using a digital compass, measurements were taken at each of the  3 bank location’s. The survey information was used to create Natal Charts.

Methodology and Methods

Methodology behind analysing the Central Bank through the medium of Feng Shui, Most people have heard of the phrase “Feng Shui”. Feng Shui is used to map the “Flow” of energy in buildings, there are many versions Form/ Landscape School of Feng Shui , Compass School of Feng Shui, Eight Mansions School of Feng Shui (Ba Zhi) and Flying Star School of Feng Shui (Xuan Kong) are all classed as classical Feng Shui because their origins trace back thousands of years. Flying Star School of Feng Shui (Xuan Kong) is one of the most technically demanding disciplines of Feng Shui.

Central bank governors play a pivotal role in decisions about economic policy and the country’s financial stability, or lack thereof. Xuan Kong Flying Star Feng Shui is the method used to create the charts, although more technically challenging than any other method of Feng Shui ; in this case simplicity is not the answer. The charts create a snapshot in time. So phase 1 of this project was to survey each of the 3 bank locations, and research the personal information of each Central Bank Governor( date of birth , etc) and integrate these into Natal Charts showing the influence they had over the last 78 years of the banks history.

Creating natal star charts

  • The Water Star(money/wealth), governs wealth, located on the top right side of each sector/palace it corresponds to a buildings facing direction.
  • The Mountain Star(people/health), governs health and relationships, located on the top left side of each sector/palace it corresponds to a buildings sitting direction.
  • The Time/Period Star(center position of sector/palace) corresponds to when the building was built.
  • The Annual Star (bottom right position of each sector/palace) is the number that corresponds to current year.

Numbers used in the creation of a Feng Shui Natal Chart

Sample Xuan Kong Flying Star Natal Chart

Timely and Untimely Flying Stars (No star is forever Good or Bad)

Numbers/Stars are defined in terms of the aging process with their inherent characteristics taken into consideration a timely star is positive whereas an untimely star is negative. During the current period 8 (Year 2004–2023), stars Eight, Nine and One are timely. Star Eight is regarded as the most timely(ruling) which is often treated as Prosperous and Noble Star. Star Nine and Star One belong to Sheng Qi, a growing energy. The other six stars are regarded as having retreating, killing or dead Qi. Each Star/Number has different traits , they each have an associated Trigram except for 5 which resides in the central palace in the original Luo Shu

1 KAN Timely and Good
2 KUN Untimely and Bad
3 ZHEN Neutral and Bad
4 XUN Untimely and Bad
5 NONE Untimely and Bad
6 QIAN Neutral and Good
7 DUI Neutral and Bad
8 GEN Timely and Very Good
9 LI Timely and Good

In Feng Shui time as cyclic. The largest unit of time is made up of 180 years. Called the Great Cycle, it is subdivided into three equal parts of 60 years each, called Yuans.

Each 60-year cycle is subdivided into three equal parts of 20 years each.

Currently we are in Period 8 (2004-2023) of the Mega Cycle. Period 9 begins on February 4, 2024, and ends on February 3, 2043. Each of the nine stars or numbers of the Luoshu has distinct traits that change over time, corresponding to the Timeliness of the Stars/Numbers

Elements Productive , Destructive and Weakening

In Feng Shui wood is not just “Wood ( 木 ) ” like Metal ( 金 ) , Water ( 水 ) , Fire ( 火 ) and Earth ( 土 ) are seen as types energies ; energies with traits which interact with each other to create Balance or Imbalance. The ways in which these energies interact with each other are called cycles, Productive , Destructive and Weakening. See the three images above and explanations below:

The productive cycle would be watering and caring for it:

Water strengthens (nurtures) Wood >>> Fire strengthens (turns into) Earth >>> Earth strengthens (produces) Metal >>> Metal strengthens (becomes like) Water >>>

The Weakening cycle would be where you restrict some of the nourishment , gradually over time this would weaken the other element.

Water (weakens) Metal >>> Wood (weakens) Water >>> Fire (weakens) Wood >>> Earth (weakens) Fire >>> Metal (weakens) Earth >>>

The Destructive cycle would be using something to chop it down or deprive it of nourishment and water.

Water destroys (puts out) Fire >>> Wood destroys (depletes) Earth >>> Fire destroys (melts) Metal >>> Earth destroys (absorbs) Water >>> Metal destroys (chops) Wood >>>

Beyond the Calculations

So what happens when the dust settles after all the work(calculations).Where to next?. Well here is the answer… In order to showcase phase 1 of the project. I bought the Domain name bankireland.ie and built a WordPress website around it on an SSL server…
I added google analytics to track the interest or lack thereof 🙂
